How to Store Your Beaded Jewelry

Storing your beaded jewelry can be tricky. Following some recommended guidelines in that will guarantee you their long life.

Store each individual piece by itself so it does not come into contact with other pieces. This can be achieved by either positioning each piece in a zip lock plastic bag or wrapping it in a cotton or linen cloth, soft tissues or pouch. A soft-lined jewelry box with separate compartments is another solution.

A very good decision would be if you keep each beaded jewelry piece in the box or bag, in which it comes. Most of the time, these accessories do incredible job in protecting your beaded jewelry from scratching and getting dirty.

The reason why it is so important that the different jewelry pieces don’t come into a contact with each other is that they are made from different materials. Some of these materials are softer (pearls) than others (diamonds, crystal composition gemstones. Therefore, they are easy to scratch and damage.
